IL VIAGGIATORE è un subacqueo
strano.
“va beh finora non è che ci hai
presentato persone proprio tutte normali!” “vero, ma il viaggiatore è diverso”
Primo perché ama viaggiare e
vedere posti nuovi e già per questo ha il mio rispetto, poi perché può
rispondere a diverse tipologie. C’è quello che ha girato il mondo, spesso è uno
che ha fatto un lavoro totalmente diverso ma che ad ogni vacanza si è trasferito
per un mese circa in posti che non proprio tutti hanno l’occasione di vedere;

ENGLISH VERSION
The TRAVELLER is a strange diver.
"Okay so far is not that you
have just presented all normal people!" "True, but the traveler is
different"
First because he loves to travel
and see new places, and I respect him a lot, then he can respond to different
types. He has generally traveled the world, often he has a job totally
different but for every holiday he has moved for a month or more in places that
not everyone have the opportunity to see, he may look unconventional; I
remember, for example, a German man rather bizarre but very cordial and very
nice, he had incredible diving
experiences, he was in almost all the dreams of every diver, from the most difficult
approaches with the most amazing marine animals, from great white sharks to
whales, from manta rays passing through and whale sharks. A person with a lot
of stories to tell. Usually in front of countless beers and an unknown amount
of cigarettes.
A storyteller in fact.
There’s the FANATIC, whom cannot
stay away from the water. After landing he pawing to see the Diving center, he must
check-in as soon as possible, arrange the equipment quickly and program all
excursions on the first day, it doesn’t matter if he goes straight to the diving
center 5 min before closing time and keeps you there half an hour more. He doesn’t
care. In two weeks he can do 50 dives, repeated dives of course with peaks of 4
per day: early morning dive - 6:30 am, then breakfast. Surface time estimated:
the minimum possible and a second dive in the morning, then lunch, 14:30 he is
ready for a third dive, an hour of surface or slightly more, afternoon dive
(the 4th !!! ) and if there is also a beautiful night dive, why not? All of
that not considering the boat trips! He considers diving very seriously, his holiday
is a job, not at all restful, but definitely gets it, he is diving Stakanov, a
war machine. Obviously to hold this rate he must be extremely motivated,
determined, prepared to not put himself in danger to respect the right
calculations and quite fit because if you are not physically fit this life
destroys you.
Do you want to try?
The PHOTOGRAPHER "nag people" can be so-called, a family to which also belongs UNDERWATER NATURALIST. The avid underwater
photography equipment has bulky, delicate, hyper-expensive and enviable.
Everything focuses in particular on his camera, with a respectable underwater
case, a position for headlights, flashlights and filters, to attack the GoPro,
so as to achieve both video and photos, underwater lights so powerful to make
day even at night, carabiners, bindings, accessories, in short, everything ...
and often more. Arousing my personal envy of course. The photographer must be
better equipped to withstand the warmth loss, must have a good suit really
professional one, because he doesn’t move much, so he loses warmth faster than
anyone else, he is able to stay in a small space stationary at one point for 20
minutes just to be able to take a photo in a perfect way of a clownfish in its
anemone. Changing a thousand different settings on the dial of his camera.
Going with him you learn a lot, but you will get bored. He has an advantage,
however: with increasing experience, it increases his desire of knowledge and he
goes in search of the most unexpected things and less obvious, often small and
difficult to find. So he perfectly agree with the Underwater Naturalist diver
who looks at him with a dignified sense of respect and platonic love. His
photos are however made browse in endless slide lectures in diving clubs and
underwater photography crew.
So boring.
In oppostion to the photographer,
there's the PLAYFUL. A crazy horse of underwater world. Absolutely unstoppable.
He doesn’t swim under water, he runs. It's hard to keep up with him, you always
remind him to go a little more slow and stay with the group, pull him bythe fin
the signaling him "go slowly" he looks at you astonished, then
realizes and smiles at you with eyes, apologizing. 30 seconds after you’re over
again, is always in lead . He goes up, down, he’s doing dual fins swimming like
a dolphin, arching his back, he looks a bit like a free divers, but with less style
and control. When he finds a sandy area he lies down on the bottom, raising a
lot of suspension and eliminating completely the visibility, he enjoys doing
somersaults and rotate on itself like a vine. He often dances under water, then
if it has a buddy that holds up the game even freestyling sudden a bachata or
merengue, he takes off the regulator and sends kisses under water, he makes
jokes while you're doing the safety stop (3 min at 5 meters to avoid damage
from decompression risks when you are going to rise up) he suddenly pulls you
down by the tank laughing after scarring you. He doesn’t stop normally looking
at the computer and spend time waiting for indications of proper absorption of
nitrogen in your body. He waits in the lotus position in midwater, looking at
the others as if they are boring dinosaurs and meditating ... yes, the next
joke to make. All of us have experienced these things, some more than others,
but he continues to make because he enjoys and gets it, and he has all my
respect for this, life is beautiful underwater, you should never take itself
too seriously .
Very Lovely.
